This M5 was also considerably more high-tech than its predecessor, but BMW M engineers went out of their way to ensure the electronics didn't dilute the driving experience. Power comes from a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8, rated at about 575 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque in stock form.
